Magic Tricks
The vanishing coin
Effect- The wizard displays an ordinary coin and allows the
audience to examine it. The wizard places the coin between the four
fingers and thumb with the palm of the hand facing upward. The
wizard then takes the coin away in the opposite hand by
covering it with the hand and making a fist. Holding the fist
at eye level the wizard then blows on the fist and magicaly the coin
has vanished. The wizard then reaches behind a spectators ear and
produces the vanished quarter,
Secret- The wizard only pretends to take
the coin away in the opposite hand but secretly drops it into the
hand that was holding the coin between the four fingers and the
thumb. When this is done the wizard simply drops the hand to the
side with the fingers slightly curled, while the hand is slightly
open this will give the illusion that the hand is empty. The
wizard then reaches behind the spectators ear and produces the
vanished coin.
Tip: Never look at the hand concealing the coin,
always look at the empty hand, the spectators eyes will always follow
what you look at. Practice in front of a mirror until you can
perform it smoothly then practice again. and again. Find a
trusted family member to practice on that way you can keep
performing until you can do it perfect. In magic the secret is
easy its all in the presentation

on the table, the wizard then informs the audience members they will
leave the room and instructs the spectator to choose one of the
objects displayed on the table. The wizard leaves the room and

they chose.
Secret: You use a secret assistant which
can be a trusted family member or friend, when you leave the room
the assistant instructs the spectator to point to any of the seven
objects on the table. When this is done your assistant
instructs you to come back into the room. Your assistant and
you have worked out a secret code, the 5th object that your
assistant points to is the chosen object. Remember practice
